And Here's What You Missed On...

Hi, my name is Erin, and I've been a bad blogger. It's been one week and two days since my last post and even longer since a post with any real sustenance. Life has really gotten ahead of me lately. The "I'll get blogging tomorrow" turned into "Oh crap! It's been a week since I've even turned on my computer." I have yet to find the balance between managing my daily activities and Nolan. Naturally I always choose the latter over anything else, and find myself falling behind in everything. I have a project list that is quickly piling up to what seems like the sky; my house isn't as neat and tidy as usual; I have unopened emails that are weeks old; and I can't remember the last time I commented on blogs. Please forgive me. Eventually I promise to figure out a healthy balance of 'me' time that I can devote to blogging and those precious moments I spend with my son. To all you Mommies out there--How do you find the time for blogging while being a Mommy and keeping up with all other activities?

Here's what's been going on lately in our household:
  • I am officially a Gleek (you are, too, if you caught the reference in my post title ;). I watched the first couple of shows on Netflix and was instantly hooked. Thanks, Allena!
  • Nolan got too big for his britches. Literally. He graduated from a 1 to a 2! And miraculously he now sleeps through the night...like from 9:15pm to 6/7am. Amen!! I'm not sure why I didn't think of the diaper size before, especially considering we woke up several times to wet bedsheets in the middle of the night. Uh, duh, Mommy!
  • I attended my first JBF sale. Such an awesome concept. I can't wait for the fall sale; I have tubs already packed full of items to sell.
  • I got food poisoning this past weekend. WORST.NIGHT.EVER. Misery times a billion.
  • Two weekends ago was spent with two of my favorite ladies, Dez & Susie, Nolan's honorary Aunt's. The sleepover was much needed and so fun. Love these two.
  • I started and stopped reading The Bluest Eye. I couldn't even get through the first chapter. Not a fan.
  • Aaron put up new fencing this weekend and now wants to build us a deck. I am super excited!
  • We had our monthly girl's get together. So glad we can come together at least once a month, and now four of us have new babies! One born just yesterday.
  • Nolan attended his first baseball game--Daddy's high school alumni baseball game.

I'm positive I am leaving about a million things out, but my brain is fried. Don't give up on me yet! I'll get everything in balance soon and be back to showing you all the bloggy love you deserve.

I don't even have a baby and I can't seem to keep up with blogging. lol. You have a completely legit reason! So sorry about the food poisoning, but hooray for being a Gleek! I officially became one this year, too. :-)

Aww.. Hang in there, it'll get easier!! I wish I could tell you my secret to balance, but truth is I only ever blog when I'm at work.. haha! After staring at the computer all day, I don't wanna go home and get near it! lolol

Oh how I remember that! It gets easier and easier to juggle a million things. Pretty sure I'm on autopilot now, haha- you'll do great ;)

I've just gotten into Glee too! I'm a bit behind on the current season though...can't wait to find some time to squeeze it in!

You'll get a nice system going eventually. (Who am I kidding? I still don't have one.) Oh, I remember when mine started sleeping through the night. It's a wonderful time for sure.
